Custom Colleges Consulting's College Application Summer Boot-camp

In this Boot-camp Jodi L.G. Glou, President of Custom College Consulting will discuss what colleges are looking for when reviewing applications. In addition to personalized assistance all students will receive the following:

• Pre-Camp Checklist: Two weeks before the start of the Boot-camp, students will receive a detailed checklist of what to have on-hand in order to be prepared from Day One.
• Overview of the CommonApp, Institutional Applications as well as other application platforms: This includes step-by-step instruction on how to complete applications before the conclusion of the Boot-camp.
• Essay Writing Tips: Students will receive brainstorming, formatting, and editing ideas to help with their Personal Statements and Supplemental Essays
• College Planning:  All students will leave with a comprehensive spreadsheet to keep applications, essays, and supplemental questions organized
• Communicating with Colleges: Attendees will learn how to best present themselves to colleges. Tips include interview techniques, how to engage in "demonstrated interest," the importance of researching colleges, as well as written and verbal communication with admissions officers.
