FAMLI Webinar hosted by the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and Maryland Department of Labor

The Maryland Department of Labor is partnering with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce to host a free informational webinar for employers looking for a better understanding of the state’s Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Program. Department of Labor staff will discuss the planned implementation of this program, cost sharing and total rate of contribution, eligibility, benefit amounts and more. Join us to learn more and gain a better understanding of Maryland’s FAMLI Program.

Featured speakers are:

Elliot Schreur is the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI). In this newly created role, Elliot leads the development of Maryland’s paid family and medical leave insurance system, which will provide working Marylanders with the financial security they need to take time off of work for medical reasons or caregiving duties. 

Regan Vaughan is the Director of Policy for the Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Division within the Maryland Department of Labor.  In this role, she is responsible for leading the team developing the regulatory framework for the program, stakeholder guidance and internal policy guides for the new FAMLI program.
