The policy is as follows: if Montgomery College, Germantown Campus is CLOSED or has a DELAY, the forum WILL NOT be held and postponed for a later date. You can find out via www.ggchamber.org, the Montgomery College website, or your local news station.
Online registration is now closed. It is important to get an accurate list of attendee names for security purposes - if you are still interested in attending, please send Amy Laczek an email at amy@rockvillechamber.org by Tuesday afternoon. After that time, we cannot guarantee that your name will be on the attendee list.
The Maryland County Executive elections of 2018 will take place on November 6, 2018, with the primary election occurring on June 26, 2018. The 2018 Gubernatorial Primary Election is set for June 26, 2018, and is sure to be a historic election for Montgomery County.
When voters go to the polls, they will elect a governor, a state legislature, a county executive, a County Council, members of the school board and the House of Representatives.
The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce, the Rockville Chamber of Commerce & Clarksburg Chamber of Commerce, will host a primary candidate forum bringing together the Democratic candidates for the office of Montgomery County Executive. The Republican candidate is running unopposed. Isiah "Ike" Leggett, current County Executive, is not eligible for reelection. Currently there are seven candidates vying for County Executive. Come and listen to the candidates take turns answering a number of predetermined questions spanning a wide variety of current issues.
