The ceremony will take place at Lakewood Country Club on Wednesday, June 5, at 11:30 a.m. Joseph Olmo of NBC Universal will emcee the event. ABOUT FIRST RESPONDERS CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION

For 20 years, the First Responders Children's Foundation (FRCF) supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs to benefit children and the community at large, through helping families pay bills and scholarships for the children. These programs are created and operated by first responder organizations such as police and fire departments. Each year, some 330 first responders die in the line of duty, leaving behind their children and families. FRCF’s mission is to support those first responder family members left behind, to help them feel the strength of our community, and to honor their loved ones who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
